When I started my Twin Flame journey, all I wanted was to be with my Twin Flame person.
Everything revolved around when and how my Union would happen. I read tons of books, searching for answers about how to make Union possible.
I also thought being with my Twin Flame would solve all my problems. Once I was with them, I believed I would be happy, fulfilled, and finally living my best life.
Oh, how naive I was!
I eventually realized that you first need to become the person you are so desperately searching for. When you know what you desire in your partner, the next step is to begin embodying those qualities within yourself.
It is easy to see another person as the source of everything good in your life, but the genuine path to happiness also involves finding that happiness within yourself.
You are not lacking anything. Everything you see in your Twin Flame already exists within your heart.
How do I know that, you might ask?
The simple yet profound answer is that you may actually be seeking God through your Twin Flame because He is your true Source.
You can experience the things you desire more deeply when you connect with God. When you find God within yourself, you can also begin to experience a deeper connection with your Beloved.
Everyone carries a connection to God at their core, but many of us block ourselves from experiencing that Divine presence within us.
We do this by not listening to our feelings, our guidance, or our intuition. It may happen gradually, without us even noticing. But as we continue to neglect ourselves, we slowly become disconnected from who we truly are.
Eventually, we start listening to our minds more than our hearts.
If you want to reconnect with yourself, you have to learn to listen to your feelings again—to what your heart is telling you.
Sit still for a few moments and bring your attention to your heart. Notice what you feel without immediately trying to analyze or rationalize it.
If you find that difficult, it may be because you have spent a long time disconnecting from your emotions and inner world. You may need to learn how to connect with yourself again.
That can mean setting boundaries with people who don’t genuinely appreciate you. It can mean standing up for yourself even when it is difficult.
It might mean searching for your true purpose instead of settling for a job you hate. It might mean ending a relationship with someone you know is not right for you, even if the relationship feels familiar and comfortable.
Most importantly, it means saying “yes” to who you truly are instead of saying “yes” to the person you think you are supposed to be because of what your surroundings have taught you.
Deep down, you know who you are. But sometimes we resist that truth so strongly that the pain of denying ourselves eventually causes us to become numb.
Your true essence, your core, your heart—it can feel incredibly Divine.
Sometimes, you can even become afraid of how good it feels to simply be yourself.
That is why we may start believing the stories other people tell us about who we are, even when those stories don’t reflect the truth.
People often try to mold us into characters that fit their expectations without taking the time to recognize who we really are.
When we believe that we have to submit to those expectations, we can slowly lose ourselves.
And it doesn’t feel good to live as someone you are not.
This is often where the Twin Flame experience can become so powerful. When we meet someone who reflects something authentic within us, we may suddenly be reminded of the person we used to be—or perhaps the person we always were beneath everything we had learned to hide.
We see something of our true selves reflected in them.
And it can feel remarkable to recognize ourselves again.
For a while, that feeling can be beautiful. But eventually, fear can enter the picture.
We may become afraid of abandonment. We may believe we are not good enough. We may become afraid of love, vulnerability, intimacy, or losing control.
Everyone has their own reasons for pulling away from a connection that feels overwhelming.
And yet, we can deeply desire the very person and connection that scares us the most.
Perhaps the reason this experience can feel so intense is because it brings us face-to-face with ourselves. It can confront us with the parts of ourselves we have spent years avoiding.
And perhaps, on a spiritual level, it can also bring us face-to-face with God.
Maybe that is why we ran away from ourselves in the first place.
But now, it is time to come back to yourself.
If you are here reading this, perhaps some part of you is already ready to do that.
The good news is that you don’t have to figure it all out alone. There is help available in finding yourself again, deepening your relationship with God, and navigating your Twin Flame journey in a healthier and more conscious way.
Maybe it was your own inner guidance that led you here.
And sometimes, trusting that guidance means being willing to reach out for help when you need it.
That is what I believe my purpose is: to help you navigate the Twin Flame path, reconnect with yourself, deepen your relationship with God, and understand what this journey may be trying to teach you.
If you feel called to explore that path with support, I would love to hear from you.
